Desk phones, browser and mobile calling, people and routing — one console. Any SIP carrier. We host it, or you run it on your own hardware.

What BX9 does

See BX9 in use

Hosted or self-hosted

Hosted

We run it. You get the console, your team gets the phone.

  • No infrastructure to own
  • Zero-downtime rolling upgrades
  • Trunks from any SIP provider

Self-hosted appliance

The whole stack on your own hardware, as one Docker deployment.

  • One server, one compose file
  • Recordings, voicemail and transcripts stay on your box
  • Production media uses rtpengine's kernel module on the host
  • Built for MSPs running their own platform

Pricing

Quoted per organization.

Three things move the number:

  • How many people
  • Hosted by us, or on your hardware
  • Add-ons: white-label branding, call analytics

Numbers and minutes come from your own SIP provider, who bills you for them.

Frequently asked questions

What is a cloud phone system?

A cloud phone system — a cloud PBX — answers your business numbers over your internet connection instead of a phone line: greeting, menu, ring group or queue, ringing your team on a desk phone, in a browser or on their mobile. Nothing to own in a cupboard.

Can I keep my existing phone numbers?

Yes, if your carrier offers a SIP trunk — BX9 works with any provider, so you keep your numbers and your rates. If it does not, port them to a carrier that does.

Do I need desk phones?

No. The browser softphone is full WebRTC calling with nothing to install. Desk phones are supported and auto-provisioned when you want them.

Which desk phones are supported?

Provisioning templates for Yealink, Grandstream, Fanvil, Poly, Snom, Cisco and Htek: BX9 builds each handset's configuration and the phone collects it on boot. Live-hardware verification covers Fanvil X5U registration and selected Yealink settings — ask sales to confirm your model before you buy a fleet.

How much does BX9 cost?

Quoted per organization: how many people, hosted by us or on your own hardware, and which add-ons. Numbers and minutes are billed separately by your own SIP provider.

Can I run BX9 on my own server?

Yes. The self-hosted appliance is the whole stack as one Docker deployment on your hardware, and recordings, voicemail and transcripts stay there. Same product we host; production media also wants rtpengine's kernel module on the host.

Can I record and transcribe calls?

Yes. Recordings play in the app beside their transcript, word-timed where the provider supplies timings. Transcription runs on the server holding the recording, and audio reaches a third-party speech-to-text provider only if a platform operator enables it for your organization.

Can I resell BX9 to my own customers?

Yes. BX9 is multi-tenant by design, with isolation enforced in the database rather than bolted on. Partners get a reseller console, cross-tenant administration and a monthly usage export to invoice from. White-label branding is a paid add-on.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes — iOS, Android and desktop. The BX9 web app installs from any browser; a native iPhone app is in beta.
